Dr. Dre wears 808 at Fenway Park

Musican and businessman Dr. Dre takes batting practice in historic Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts on April 4, 2010. He was at Fenway Park to unveil his "Beats by Dr. Dre" headphones on the season's opening day, with the Boston Red Sox taking on the New York Yankees. Dr. Dre's uniform number, 808, may be a reference to the Roland TR-808 drum machine, an iconic tool for record producers (including Dre) from the 1980s onward. Dr. Dre may or may not have gotten hits in the batting cage, but Beats by Dr. Dre were a *huge* hit: four years later, he sold the company to Apple for $3 billion.
