Gene Kelly

A 1943 photo of actor and dancer Gene Kelly (right) and his wife, Betsy Blair.  They married in October of 1941, when he was 29 and she was 17. They divorced 16 years later, in 1957.

Blair was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the 1955 film Marty; she played the plain schoolteacher wooed by Marty (played by Ernest Borgnine).
