Bonnie and Clyde, with Bonnie Parker in the arms of Clyde Barrow

What did Bonnie and Clyde look like? Here's the answer: Clyde Barrow (left) holds up Bonnie Parker in this photo taken sometime between 1932 and 1934. The duo -- better known as the outlaws Bonnie and Clyde -- went on a crime spree in those years before being ambushed and killed by law officers on May 23, 1934.

This photo is from the New York World-Telegram and the Sun Newspaper Photograph Collection in the U.S. Library of Congress.
