Laetitia Casta

The French model Laetitia Casta poses for photographers at the Cannes Film Festival in 1999. Casta turned 21 that year; she was born in 1978.

1999 was also the year that Casta was chosen by a vote of French mayors to pose for new busts of Marianne, the symbol of revolutionary France whose statue appears in French town halls.
