Pamela Anderson in a, uh, blue dress

Pamela Anderson, at the peak of her all-curves-and-lip-gloss epoch, wears a blue garment that barely keeps it together on May 22, 2000. This was at the 37th Academy of Country Music Awards at Universal City in Los Angeles. That was the second year of her run on V.I.P., the spoofy TV series in which she starred as Vallery Irons, the newbie (but learning fast) front woman for a bodyguard agency. The New York Times called V.I.P. "a show so dumb, it's smart," adding that "There's a fine line between stupid and clever, and Ms. Anderson -- ex-Playmate, 'Baywatch' bikini filler and amateur porn star -- walks it in five-inch Lucite heels." Salute!
