Richard Petty looks at his wax dopplegänger

Racing legend Richard Petty, at right (or is it at left?), regards his wax twin during an event at Madame Tussauds of Las Vegas on March 9, 2007. the occasion was the unveiling of wax figures of both Petty and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. for the grand opening of the New Neon Garage at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Madame Tussauds wax figures are known for their remarkable verisimilitude, and also for not melting in the Las Vegas heat. Note that "Madam Tussauds" does not have an apostrophe between the final d and the s -- we looked it up. Richard Petty was born in 1937, so he turned 70 the year this photo was taken.
