Selena at the 1994 Grammys

Selena Quintanilla -- better known simply as Selena -- smiles for photographers at the 36th Annual Grammy Awards on March 1, 1994. The awards were held that year at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Selena won the year's Grammy for best Mexican-American album for her 1993 album Live. Selena was born in 1971, so she turned 23 the year this photo was taken.
