Al Capone’s mug shot, front and side

A mug shot of Al Capone, both front and side, taken in 1931. That was the year he was sent to federal prison for tax evasion, after his takedown by the team led by Eliot Ness. Already a kingpin of crime, Capone was only 32 at the time of this shot. He served eight year in prison before his release.
