Prince Harry Biography
Royalty
Name at birth: Henry Charles Albert David Windsor
Prince Harry is the second son of Britain's Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, and the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II. (He is commonly called by his nickname of Harry, though his birth name is Henry.) The Prince is third in line to the throne, after his father and his older brother Prince William. Like William, Harry attended Wetherby and Ludgrove schools; in September of 1998 he entered Eton College. He followed family tradition by entering the Sandhurst military academy in 2005; he graduated in April 2006, becoming a second lieutenant in the British Army's Household Cavalry. The Army announced in February of 2008 that Harry had just completed 10 weeks of active duty in Afghanistan; his deployment there had been kept secret by an agreement between the government and the British press.
Extra credit: Harry caused a ruckus in January of 2005 when he wore a Nazi uniform to a friend's costume party and photos made their way into British newspapers... The Royal Family revealed in January 2002 that Harry had smoked marijuana on at least one occasion during the previous summer; among other parental measures, Prince Charles sent him to visit a drug rehabilitation center for a day.
Other modern royals: Charlotte Casiraghi and Princess Caroline of Monaco.
