We almost missed it: actress Sharon Stone turned 50 yesterday.
It’s been 16 years since her star-making turn as the krazy platinum vixen Catherine Tramell in Basic Instinct.
She reprised the role just a few years ago, and Roger Ebert (for one) said she still delivered the goods. “The Catherine Tramell role cannot be played well, but Sharon Stone can play it badly better than any other actress alive.”
