Erin McKeown Biography
Born in Boston, Erin McKeown is a graduate of Brown University and a product of the East Coast folk-rock scene. She plays guitar and banjo while singing with an impish vocal mix of folk, gospel, and Hank Williams-style country. McKeown's own online biography calls her a "mix of Django Reinhardt and G. Love." Her albums include Monday Morning Cold (1998), Distillation (2000, with the folk hit "Queen of Quiet"), Grand (2003), and the Tin Pan Alley homage Sing You Sinners (2006).
