Disney at 105
Animation pioneer Walt Disney died 40 years ago, but were he still living he'd be 105 today. Disney was born the same year as jazz great Louis Armstrong and chemist Linus Pauling. They both outlived him, but they were all outlasted by romance novelist Barbara Cartland, also of the class of '01, who lived to the ripe old age of 100.Happy birthday, Walt!

Im doing a report on disney for shcool for my art class. I love all of his creations expesially mickey mouse. I wrote all about him in my 2 page autobiagraphy i did of him. If he was stile alive i would want to be his best friend or at least work at the retiment home he was in
its interesting to read a lil bout Walt and his life... but what gets me the most and still to this day fascinates me... is how he had such a grand imagination to create Disney Land and how it xpanded so far out... I love that he had such a great imagination and how he actually made it come true, not only for him tho, but for people all over the world!!! He truly is an inspiration and a good one at that... all of the stories we all loved as children and still to this day are Disney, for me anyways, and out of all of them, i have to say that "Peter Pan" gets me the most simply because its about a flying boy, Tinkerbell, and his friends. Something that surely seems unreal but when you watch the film you get lost in it and seem to wonder off into your own "land." Another one of my favorites is "Bambi" i remember when i was young id wake up and put on "Bambi" and as i child i knew every line to the movie LOL i knew that film by heart... but honestly, i LOVE all Disney movies because they all are wonderful films and stories that i have grown up with and i know my future children will too... So id like to take some time to Thank Walt even tho hes gone now, but Thank You for such a wonderful imagination and for making everyones dreams come true. Also, id like to Thank the staff for keeping Disneys name and his dream going!!! U guys are awesome!!! Keep up the Good work... :-)
Becky...
