Meet the Designer Who Put the 'O' in Obama

Nifty interview with Sol Sender, the guy who designed the campaign logo for Barack Obama. Dude is a little dry, but it's good to learn how these things happen.
For myself, I dig the way the red and white stripes suggest the rows of a Midwestern field. It's a very, very subtle and clever logo.
Sender's own website is a surprising letdown. I expected to find other powerful designs... yet there's hardly anything there, and what is there looks like a million other sites for website designers. ???
Well, whatever: His place in design history is secure.
