It IS really cool. Though it's funny for them to say it was "created using almost 15,000 digital still photos and no video footage."Isn't that kind of like creating a film "using 24 still frames per second but no motion picture footage"? If dude is following people around with a "still" camera that shoots 2 or 8 frames a second, how is that different from having a "video" camera that's undercranked?On an unrelated note: For those of us who know Zachary Quinto only from his turn as Spock, it's hard to grok him in non-Spock mode.
