Pantheon of Weird Photos

Just stumbled on this oldie while adding new photos of Elton John.

That's Courtney Love, dressed inexplicably as Donald Duck while dueting with Sir Elton during a fundraiser for the Old Vic Theater in 2003.

As reported at the time:

Clutching a cigarette between her lips, the 38-year-old American rock star stumbled around the Old Vic stage discarding her clothes while singing a duet with Sir Elton John of his hit 'The Bitch Is Back.'

Although originally dressed as Donald Duck, by the end of the song the controversial performer was spreadeagled on the grand piano wearing only her fishnet tights, a camisole and the briefest of knickers.

There was a flabbergasted silence before the audience at the £1,000-a-ticket black-tie event... broke into wild applause.

"The briefest of knickers" -- heh. There'll always be an England!
