Corey Haim: Photos from His Life and Career
He's most famous, it seems, for the 1987 vampire movie The Lost Boys, directed by Joel Schumacher and co-starring Corey Feldman and Kiefer Sutherland.
Corey Feldman, not Corey Haim, is the guy who starred in The Goonies, Stand By Me, etc. This is not news to pop culture junkies, who watched them play off that confusion in the short-lived reality series The Two Coreys in 2007. But I wasn't paying attention, I guess.
Corey Haim starred in a few movies I have heard of, including Murphy's Romance in 1985 with old-school titans James Garner and Sally Field. But for the most part his movies weren't biggies. 1996 was his most productive year after The Lost Boys, and these were the titles:
Fever Lake
Snowboard Academy
Shooter on the Side
Demolition High
Here's a shot from his most recent film, Crank: High Voltage (2009). That's Haim in the mullet on the right, with Jason Statham.
The rough life of a child star. Good luck to you, Mr. Haim, wherever you are.
