Keeping Up With the Kutchers
We wouldn't be the biography site of record if we didn't note that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore officially split up this week.
Here they were in happier times in 2009, at the premiere of Kutcher's movie Spread. (Which had Kutcher "moving from one wealthy woman of 35 or 40 to another, a kept boy-toy.")
They've been married since 2005. The split was announced on Thursday by Moore in a "carefully worded and vaguely accusatory" statement:
"As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life."
Vaguely accusatory, yes. But there's an upside for Moore, says a media consultant:
"Her image will be stronger now. I think she will get some good movie roles. She got burned, and that brings out a different part of your character."
There's always an upside in Hollywood.
