How To Bury A Millionaire

Someone just paid $4.6 million for the crypt directly above Marilyn Monroe.

"Here is a once in a lifetime and into eternity opportunity to spend your eternal days directly above Marilyn Monroe," the eBay auction description boasted.

[Current owner] Richard Poncher was buried face down, looking at Marilyn, when he died 23 years ago at age 81, the posting revealed.

[Update: the winning bidder backs out.]

R.I.P + 3

Rest in peace, Don Knotts. You died three years ago today.

TV's Barney Fife is buried near a swaying palm tree in Westwood Memorial Park in LA. (Same cemetery as Marilyn Monroe and Dean Martin!)

The gravestone couldn't be much simpler.
