A Three-fer from Ringo Starr

Until we added photos to our Ringo Starr profile, we didn't know that a flash of the "peace" sign was his personal trademark. Examples (two-handed) here, (at a flower show) here, and (with Yoko!) here.
Last year he asked fans around the world to flash the peace sign and "think, say, shout, sing 'Peace and love'" at noon on July 7th, his 68th birthday.
And, as always, he's not above goofing on himself.

The Beatles Reunite, Kinda, Sorta
Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney played together over the weekend, and Rolling Stone thought enough of it to give it several column inches. So did many others.Godblessem and all, but... is it really worthy of note as a "Beatles reunion"?
More of an oddity was the charity that benefitted: David Lynch's push to raise $7 billion for transcendental meditation in schools. Or more formally, The David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace. Official site here.
