Heh. NFL quarterback Tom Brady had a little on-field argument with linebacker Terrell Suggs during the Ravens-Patriots game last Sunday. Suggs’s account of the rhubarb:
“He was trying to tell me how to bag a Hollywood actress,” Suggs said. “He was like, ‘Sizzle, if you want to get a Hollywood actress, take my seminar on Saturday.'”
Maybe it’s not “You should get out of that wet uniform and into a dry martini,” but it does seem like a fairly complex level of commentary for the gridiron. Suggs added, “He was going over the Dow and the economy and politics. He doesn’t really talk football that much.”
Suggs is an Arizona State alum and Brady went to Michigan, so it’s nice to discover that sort of banter isn’t reserved for the Yale-Harvard game. Public education: it’s terrific!
Tom Brady is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen and has a child with actress Bridget Moynahan — maybe the impetus for the Hollywood talk, or maybe a little jab from Suggs. We only have Suggs’s word for the whole exchange, of course. Brady isn’t talking.
