Signs of Bill Murray

Today I walked past a home that still hopes to have Bill Murray crash their party. See the photo of “Bill Murray Can Crash Here.”

You may have heard the report last month that comedian Bill Murray would embark on a party-crashing tour in August. According to the original story, if you wanted the ol’ knucklehead to crash a party at your house, all you had to do was provide booze and karoake.

To signify that your house was Bill-friendly, you were supposed to put out a welcome sign that said “Bill Murray Can Crash Here.” It was a funny story. And it was bogus, of course. Or was it? Or WAS it?

Today I walked past a house that’s doing that Pascal‘s Wager thing — it can’t hurt to have a Bill Murray sign out front, right? Wouldn’t you be sad if it turned out NOT to be a hoax? How sad would you be? Pretty sad.
