February 10-15 is the traditional peak of activity on Who2’s Black History Month Biographies page. (Have you written your paper yet?)

This year, as in years past, former President Barack Obama is our most-viewed biography. Born in Hawaii to a mother from Kansas and a father from Kenya; crack student at Columbia University and Harvard Law; community organizer, constitutional law professor, state senator, U.S. Senator, and then two-term president (and America’s first Black president) from 2009-17… he is quite a story at that.
Rounding out the top dozen most-popular Black History Month bios on Who2 this week are:
- Rosa Parks
- Michael Jackson
- Michael Jordan
- Harriet Tubman
- Martin Luther King, Jr.
- Booker T. Washington
- Jackie Robinson
- George Washington Carver
- Michelle Obama
- Jesse Owens
- Muhammad Ali
Well, pretty good company. Good luck, students!
