Tim Pfaff of Athens, Ohio got a special delivery from the mountain gods last night.
“My wife and I were upstairs in the bedroom. My son and a few of his friends were in the back bedroom watching TV. We were ready to go to bed … It sounded like a huge hailstorm or a big, strong, sudden downpour.”
Turns out it WAS a huge hailstorm of sorts. Next time someone tells Mr. Pfaff about hailstones the size of golf balls, he’ll be ready to go them one better.
The bottom line, as always:
“We’re grateful that everyone’s safe. It could’ve been much worse.”
