The official search for adventurer Steve Fossett has been suspended.
His friends still hold out hope — though as one put it, “‘It certainly doesn’t look promising’ is an understatement.”
Fossett disappeared in a light plane somewhere in Nevada on September 3rd. Despite extensive searches by land, air, and Internet, no trace of him has been found.
