Last month we noted the remarriage of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, four months after his divorce from Cecilia Ciganer-Albeniz.
Now comes word that Ciganer-Albeniz has herself remarried, in New York, to Richard Attias. Bloomberg News describes Attias as an advertising executive, while Examiner.com calls him an “event planner.” The BBC last year called him an “international communications consultant.” Reuters says he’s a “public relations executive.”
Whatever his job, his new title is “That guy who married Sarkozy’s ex-wife.”
Meanwhile, in sleepy old America, actress Pamela Anderson has had her 2007 marriage to Rick Salomon annulled. They were married last October — the same month that the Sarkozys were divorced, if you’re keeping track.
