The Day Somebody Was Born

December 6th is unusual. It’s been known around Who2 HQ as the day nobody was born — the one day on which nobody in our database had a birthday.

And we have consistently pledged not to hunt for a December 6th celeb just to artificially fill the gap.

But now it’s all over! Nick Park, animator of the lovable Wallace and Gromit films, was profiled by editor Paul Hehn in October. And Nick Park was born on December 6th of 1958.

We now have at least one person for every day of the year. Congratulations and thank you, Mr. Park!

December 6th can now return to being “the day before Pearl Harbor.”
