The famous Farrah Fawcett swimsuit poster of 1976, by photographer Bruce McBroom for Pro Arts, Inc. The poster was released during her first (and only) season on the TV show 'Charlie's Angels' and sold more than 12 million copies. Her partner, Ryan O'Neal, donated the swimsuit and a copy of the poster to the Smithsonian Institution in 2011, along with other Fawcettiana including "a leather-bound book of Fawcett's personal copies of scripts for the first season of Charlie's Angels, a Fawcett swimsuit jigsaw puzzle, a 'Farrah Phenomenon' 1976 edition of TV Guide, a Charlie's Angels 1976 edition of Time magazine, an original 1977 Farrah Fawcett doll and a 'Farrah's Glamour Center. hairstyling toy." The items became art of the Smithsonian's popular-culture history collections.
