Roger Moore as James Bond (older edition)

Roger Moore gives his James Bond look -- the smallest of saucy smiles with one eyebrow raised ever so slightly -- in this production still from the 1981 film For Your Eyes Only. The film, directed by John Glen, was Roger Moore's fifth turn as James Bond and was definitely stretching it, given that he turned 54 the year the film was released. Still, he made two more Bond films: Octopussy in 1983 and then A View to a Kill in 1985, the year he turned 58. He was succeeded in the 1987 film The Living Daylights by Timothy Dalton, who was a much truer Bond but at age 41 was honestly also a little too old to be playing the superspy.
