Arwen Evenstar Biography
Fictional Elf
Arwen has a small role in the J.R.R. Tolkien fantasy trilogy The Lord of the Rings. The daughter of the wise elf Elrond, she is betrothed to Aragorn, heir to the throne of Gondor. Her role in the story was enlarged for Peter Jackson's 2001-2003 feature film trilogy, in which actress Liv Tyler played Arwen.
Both Arwen and Liv Tyler appear in our loop on The Lord of the Rings.
