Kyle Gallner Biography

Young actor Kyle Gallner is mostly known for playing twisted teens on TV, most notably as victim-turned-villain Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas in the first two seasons of Veronica Mars (2004-07, starring Kristen Bell). Gallner stumbled into acting while still in high school, first appearing in television guest shots in 2000. He's since built up an impressive record of significant guest roles -- as the son of a polygamist in the cable series Big Love, as an adoptee looking for a father figure in CSI: NY and as a sociopathic teen killer on The Shield (starring Michael Chiklis). His feature films include Gardens of the Night (2008, with John Malkovich and The Haunting in Connecticut (2009, starring Virginia Madsen).
