Brooke Burke
Model / TV Personality
Brooke Burke was the globetrotting, bikini-clad host of Wild On, an adventure travelogue on the cable network E!, from 1999-2002. (Burke took over for former host Jules Asner, and was succeeded by Cindy Taylor.) Burke is a former Ford Agency model whose early assignments included posing for lingerie company Fredericks of Hollywood and appearing in high-profile ads for Bally's exercise clubs. Her work on Wild On made her a star, leading to appearances in Playboy, Maxim and other magazines. She also hosted the E! show Rank from 2002-03.Extra credit: Burke's birthplace is sometimes listed as Tucson, Arizona; she was actually born in Connecticut and then raised in Arizona... She is sometimes confused with actress Brooke Burns.
Other models who have hosted TV shows include Cindy Crawford (House of Style), Molly Sims (House of Style) and Cindy Margolis (The Cindy Margolis Show).
