Artie Shaw plays the clarinet while his future ex-wife snuggles up

Artie Shaw plays his clarinet, joined by his future wife Lana Turner (left) and Ann Rutherford, on the set of the 1939 film Dancing Co-Ed. (A 1930s movie title if there ever was one.) Artie Shaw and Lana Turner were married in February of 1940, then divorced in September of that same year.
