Anne Frank’s Chestnut Tree Falls in Amsterdam

  • The 180-year-old chestnut tree that cheered Anne Frank while she was in hiding has finally fallen in a rainstorm.  MSNBC has an impressive photo.

The tree was saved from destruction in 2007, but fell of its own accord overnight.

Now Anne Frank has something in common with poet Robert Frost.
