Abraham Zapruder’s camera

Her is the Bell & Howell home movie camera used by Abraham Zapruder to film the shooting of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. The camera is a "Bell & Howell Model 414PD Zoomatic Director Series camera with a Varamat 9-27mm f1.8 zoom lens," according to the Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas. The camera, as well as the famous "Zapruder film" taken with it, were acquired by the National Archives in 1998; the heirs of Abraham Zapruder were paid $16 million for the film after a judge ruled on the case in 1999.
