Andrew Jackson portrait in a heavy black jacket

President Andrew Jackson, in a portrait "drawn from life and engraved by J.B. Longacre" sometime between 1815 and 1845, the year of his death. That's according to the U.S. Library of Congress's Prints and Photographs Division, which provided this image.

Andrew Jackson was born in 1767, so those dates would make him between 48 and 78 years old when the portrait was done. (He looks a lot closer to 48 than to 78, to be honest.) Jackson was president of the United States from 1829 until 1837.
