Poet Carol Ann Duffy meets the Queen

Queen Elizabeth II (at right) receives the incoming Poet Laureate, Professor Carol Ann Duffy, at Buckingham Palace in London, England. The date was July 9, 2009. She served in that role until 2019. Per Wikipedia, Carol Ann Duffy was "the first woman, the first Scot, and the first openly gay or bisexual poet to hold the position."
