The cover of Carole King’s album ‘Tapestry’

The cover of Tapestry, Carole King's award-winning and much-loved 1971 album. The cover was shot by photographer Jim McCrary at King's home in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood of greater Los Angeles. Her cat, Telemachus, was added to the shot at the last minute by McCrary.

Tapestry went onto sell over 25 million copies, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time.
