Charles Bronson in ‘The Magnificent Seven’

Charles Bronson stands dead center (so to speak) in this lineup of the titular cast from the 1960 western The Magnificent Seven. From left are: James Coburn, Brad Dexter, Robert Vaughn, Charles Bronson, Horst Bucholz, Steve McQueen, and Yul Brynner.

The film, directed by John Sturges, featured seven tough (but heroic!) mercenaries who sign up to save a small Mexican town from marauding bad guys led by the always-reliable Eli Wallach. Spoiler: Bronson's character... well, let's not spoil it after all. Charles Bronson was born in 1921, so he turned 39 the year the movie was released.
