Here’s a Charlie Chaplin groupie, sort of

It's really quite a stretch, and probably offensive, to describe this person as a Charlie Chaplin groupie. For starters, Chaplin was long dead when this photo was taken in 2006. What we're actually seeing here is the South African model Minki Van Der Westhuizen at a party held for Spencer Chaplin, grandson of Charlie Chaplin, as he celebrated his 18th birthday. So she is not a groupie, nor is she really connected to Charlie Chaplin at all, except by the most tenuous thread of circumstance and proximity. We regret the error.
