Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in ‘Pardners’

Dean Martin (left) and Jerry Lewis strike a menacing pose in their 1956 movie Pardners. This was their penultimate film together; they also made Hollywood or Bust before splitting up their partnership later in 1956. Pardners featured Martin as a competent rancher and Lewis as (naturally) his bungling sidekick. On the plus side, the film did feature such classic Hollywood supporting actors as Jack Elam, Lon Chaney, Jr., and Lee Van Cleef. As a bonus, Jerry Lewis actually looks a little like Donald Fagen of Steely Dan here, especially from the nose down.
