Gene Kelly looking good in a spotted bow tie

A publicity photo of actor and dancer Gene Kelly, taken for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios sometime in the mid-20th century.

Wikipedia says the photo was taken in 1943. If that's the case, Kelly (born in 1912) would have turned 31 years old that year. He appeared in two movies that year: Du Barry Was a Lady and the wartime musical Thousands Cheer.

His best-remembered film, Singin' in the Rain, wasn't released until 1952.
