Gillian Anderson in a solar-powered tent

Actress Gillian Anderson shows her gray-blue eyes as she looks back at photographers while arriving at the UK premiere of the film The Age of Stupid. The event was held at the Leicester Square gardens "in a solar-powered tent," according to our photographic friends at WENN. It's not quite clear how a tent can be solar-powered, although presumably the lights and air conditioning (or even projector?) ran on solar-generated electricity. The date, in any case, was March 15, 2009.

Ah! We just looked it up, and The Age of Stupid is a "drama-documentary-animation hybrid which stars Pete Postlethwaite as a man living alone in a devastated world of 2055, watching archival film and asking 'Why didn't we stop climate change when we had the chance?'" (Thanks, Wikipedia!) Hence the solar-powered tent. "An independent audit conducted by Carbon Accounting Systems found the event's carbon emissions to be 1% of those produced by a normal blockbuster premiere."
