Joan Allen gets bitten by a vampire

Wait, that's no vampire, that's Jeremy Irons (right) greeting Joan Allen at the opening night after-party for the Broadway play Impressionism. This was at Sardi's in New York City on March 24, 2009. Allen and Irons starred in the drama, playing "an international photojournalist and a New York gallery owner whose unexpected brush with intimacy leads them to realize that there is an art to repairing broken lives." The play ran for 23 previews and 56 official performances from March through May of 2009. Ben Brantley, reviewing the play for The New York Times, called it "undernourished" and said "their characters, as written, are... insubstantial, amalgams of standard-issue psychological profiles and peppy one-liners." Oof!
