Kim Novak on the set of the film ‘Pushover’

Kim Novak is joined by (from left) director Richard Quine and co-stars Phil Carey and Fred MacMurray on the set of the 1954 film Pushover. The crime drama was Kim Novak's first credited movie role. She played Lona McLane, a gangster's girlfriend whose allure corrupts MacMurray's (formerly) honest cop.

Born in 1933, Kim Novak turned 21 the year that Pushover was released. Four years later she was driving Jimmy Stewart crazy in Vertigo.
