Muhammad Ali in the miniseries ‘Freedom Road’

Boxer Muhammad Ali (left) walks with actor Kris Kristofferson in a scene from the 1979 TV miniseries Freedom Road. According to Wikipedia, the four-hour film featured "Ali in a rare acting role as Gideon Jackson, a former slave and Union (American Civil War) soldier in 1870s Virginia, who gets elected to the U.S. Senate and battles other former slaves and white sharecroppers to keep the land they have tended all their lives." Judging from the hole in Ali's coat, this is one of the sharecropper scenes. Kristofferson played Abner Lait, who (in the film) helped Jackson buy land and get ahead in life.
