Muhammad Ali, Sportsman of the Century

One of the great heavyweight boxers of all time, Muhammad Ali was named "Sportsman of the Century" by the International Olympic Committee in 1999. (Ali, then named Cassius Clay, won a gold medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, Italy while boxing as a light heavyweight.) Ali's fight with Earnie Shavers went the full 15 rounds, Ali winning by a unanimous decision of the judges.
