Princess Stephanie of Monaco looks glum

Princess Caroline of Hanover (left) and His Serene Highness Prince Albert II (center) are all smiles, but Princess Stephanie doesn't seem so happy, despite her wonderfully colorful blouse and brooch. This was on July 12, 2005, at one of the events for Prince Albert's accession to the throne of Monaco.

Stephanie is the youngest of the three siblings: Princess Caroline was born in 1957, Prince Albert was born in 1958, and Princess Stephanie came along in 1965. According to Monaco's bylaws, the baldest sibling becomes ruler, which is how Albert was chosen for the throne. Perhaps that's why Stephanie looks so glum. (Kidding, of course: Albert, though the second-born child, was first in line to the throne by virtue of being male. )
