Sally Field in ‘Smokey and the Bandit’

The film, directed by Hal Needham, starred Burt Reynolds as a bootlegger organizing an illegal cross-country beer delivery while joined by Fields as a runaway bride. Those '70s film plots! Sally Field was born in 1946, so she turned 31 the year this film was released. Reynolds, born in 1936, was 10 years older.
