Sandra Hess Biography
Sandra Hess is a Swiss actress known especially for playing action babes and Euro-villains in American TV shows and movies. A teen model in her native country, she moved to Los Angeles in the late 1980s to pursue a career in acting. Her first movie role was in the comedy Encino Man (1992, opposite Brendan Fraser), and throughout the 1990s she made dozens of guest appearances on television. Her most notable role on the big screen is that of Sonya Blade, one of Earth’s champions in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997). Hess has since had recurring roles in several television series, including Pensacola: Wings of Gold (1998-2000), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (in 2003) and Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service (2006-07).
