Sophia Loren in ‘A Breath of Scandal’

Sophia Loren (right) raises a glass to John Gavin in the 1960 film A Breath of Scandal. The film was one of the last directed by Michael Curtiz, who also directed Casablanca; he died in 1962. Sophia Loren was 26 when this film was released, and at the height of her fame: she won an Academy Award for the film Two Women, released the same year.
